This March, GREASE is the word again! One of America’s favorite and longest running Broadway hit musical shows is coming to Riverwood High School.
GREASE, by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, is the1950’s all American love story of two teens from opposite sides of the fence who fall in love one summer only to discover each other again at school. The show takes place at Rydell High School, where Danny Zuko (Alex Wechsler) fronts his gang - the T-Birds - who romance their sassy female counterparts - the Pink Ladies. When naive Sandy Dumbrowski (Chloe Nichols) arrives in town, the Pink Ladies take her under their wing.
So come and join Danny & Sandy along with over 70 performing art students and an all student live band in one of the biggest high octane musical rock ‘n ‘roll events at Riverwood to date!
GREASE is expected to play to more than 2,000 theater-goers for 4 performances at the Riverwood High School Auditorium March 13 -16.
Get your tickets early at our new box office the week of the show.
The box office will be open Monday, March 10 through Thursday, March 13 from 11:15 am to 2:00 pm and will be located in the atrium of Riverwood High School.
Tickets: $5.00 for students and $10.00 for adults.
The show's score celebrates '50s rock and roll as well as doo-wop and other contemporary styles with hit songs like "Summer Nights," "Greased Lightning," and "We Go Together."
