School Of Rock- Rated PG-13 Just my Opinion -DVD Rental Review By Coleen Lou

My family and I recently rented the DVD, School Of Rock, starring Jack Black. It was a cute and funny movie, that both we (the parents) and our children enjoyed….imagine that!
Without giving away too much, it is about a “wanna-be rocker,” that pretends to be his friend, who is an aspiring teacher and takes on a position as a substitute teacher in a private school. He begins a new hands-on classroom project with his new 5th graders, called project “rock band,” where the children get an education in what it takes to create and manage a rock band.
This is not a monumental film and it will not change your life….but it is humorous and just good entertaining family fun. My husband and I also enjoyed hearing some of the tunes and references to the rock musicians we grew up with like Led Zeppelin, Yes and Jimmy Hendrix.
I give this movie an
 out of a possible 10.
